Depending on your body condition, your preference and your body needs we are using various massage and bodywork modalities to help you with your stress/pain. You may choose what kind of massage you want the therapist to perform, although if you want to get rid of the problem, we always recommend to let your therapist to decide. In most cases the massage will begine with a Swedish and then, based on the assessment, the session will be continued using also other massage techniques. If you do not know yet, which is the most appropriate for you, please read the descriptions below for better understanding of the professional therms and ask your therapist for help.
- SWEDISH MASSAGE
Swedish Massage known as the "traditional massage" is design for body relaxation. It is a very effective therapy that enhances over-all health and well-being. It helps to curtail recovery time from injuries such as muscle sprains and spasms, as well as stretching the tendons and ligaments and as a result increases flexibility. It improves circulation of body fluids, cleans organism from toxins and makes the skin firmer. Massage releases the muscle tension, calms the body down and levels emotional state by stress elimination.
** If you have any serious/not treated circulatory problems, please consult with your doctor before receiving a Swedish (circulatory) massage.**
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
Deep tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage and Neuro-Muscular combined. It is very muscle specific modality. The pressure to specific points of muscle contraction is applied gradually, from medium to deep. This kind of massage therapy in very successful in releasing chronic muscle tension.
TRIGGER POINT THERAPY
A Trigger Point is a very tight area within muscle tissue that causes pain at the point of muscle contraction or refers pain to other parts of the body. The pain may be sharp and intense or a dull ache.Trigger point massage therapy is specifically designed to alleviate the source of the pain through cycles of isolated pressure and release, bringing blood flow into the tissue.
The results and benefits of Trigger Point massage are releasing constricted areas in the muscles thus alleviating pain. You can experience a significant decrease in pain after just one treatment. Receiving massage with trigger point therapy on a regular basis can help naturally manage pain and stress from chronic injuries.
Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on massage technique. It involves gentle sustained palm pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion in between layers of muscles. This essential “time element” has to do with the viscous flow and the piezoelectric phenomenon: a gentle pressure applied slowly allows a viscoelastic medium (fascia) to elongate.
Each Myofascial Release Treatment session is performed directly on skin with very smal amount of lotion. This enables the therapist to accurately detect fascial restrictions and apply the appropriate amount of sustained pressure to facilitate release of the fascia.This massage is combined with Swedish and deep tissue modalities.
Couples massage is a great way to introduce this kind of treatment to a partner who has never gotten a massage before. Once he/she experience a couples massage, then will be more comfortable to book a massage on his/her own. This is mixed modalities massage.

FOUR HANDS MASSAGE
Four-hands massage, is a treatment performed by two therapist at the same time. They are using synchronized or not synchronized movements while relaxing your body and mind. It is a great option for clients who have a problem with total relaxation during the session. In the beginning it may be confusing and you may try to keep truck of the hands movement but with time the brain gives up on the control and body relaxes completely.
**Second therapist may be a female or a male, upon your preference.**
CUPPING / ANTI-CELLULITE MASSAGE
Cupping massage is performed with use of rubber cups, which create a suction of the skin. The application is done by circular motion into slightly oiled skin. This kind of treatment improves blood and lymph circulation, helps to cleanse the body from toxins and excess metabolism products. Cupping massage effectively reduces swelling and skin changes caused by circulatory disorders. It is one of the basic treatments which have been proven to treat cellulite. It also slims, firms and makes the skin more elastic. This kind of treatment possesses unique healing properties and removes any energetic blockage.
Using gentle and rhythmical movements of the skin, lymphatic drainage massage aims to improve the functioning of the body’s secondary circulation, the lymphatic system, and help encourage the natural filtering and drainage of waste, toxins and excess fluids from the body’s tissue. The technique uses light pressure and rhythmic circular movements to stimulate lymph flow. This is a great technique to use after surgeries, lymphedema, sinusitis.
Chair massage is a short massage which lasts anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes. This type of treatment is great for someone who does not have much time but has some muscle problems. This massage is performed on a special massage chair instead of a massage table. You can be fully clothed or you may choose to remove your upper clothing. This modality typically focuses on tension in the back, neck, shoulders and arms areas.
They are many places where a Chair Massage may be done, like: corporate charity or sport events; conventions, offices, recreation areas, private, beauty salons, shopping malls, ect. It is convenient and affordable form of relaxation.
THAI YOGA- passive stretching
The massage recipient changes into loose, comfortable clothes and lies on a mat, massage table or firm mattress on the floor. The massage practitioner leans on the recipient's body using hands and usually straight forearms locked at the elbow to apply firm rhythmic pressure. A full Thai massage session typically lasts two hours or more, and includes rhythmic pressing and stretching of the entire body; this may include pulling fingers, toes, ears, cracking the knuckles, walking on the recipient's back, and arching the recipient into bhujangasana (or cobra position). There is a standard procedure and rhythm to the massage, which the practitioner will adjust to fit each individual client.
Stretching is a type of physical exercise in during which contracted muscles, tendons and ligaments are coming back to comfortable tone/length, increasing blood flow and muscle/joints flexibility and range of motion. Regular stretching make daily living activities easier.
